Out of all the time I've watched Battlestar Galactica I only got one plotbunny out of it. And it's a plotbunny that slightly [one plot point, really] based on something that will happen in tonight's episode, which is why I'm going to talk about it under a lj-cut. That way I can keep track of the fact that, yes, I did think that up before I knew about what's happening tonight. I thought it up before the second season even started actually. +grins+

First, I need to state something, and that is that I've never actually watched the original series. But I did get the 411 from both my father and the lovely shetiger so I knew that I wasn't completely bonkers.

This plotbunny was something that grew from the fact that A.) Athena was no where to be found, and B.) It'd be wicked cool to get the Battlestar Pegasus to show up.

And that morphed into giving Athena a completely different background [considering the fact that unless my sources are incorrect --which I do so doubt-- Dee = Athena, pretty much], one which I won't get into because I'm on a time crunch.

That and I don't have her personality completely figured out and some of the background is still fuzzy [because of laziness, really....I could of written this sucker ages ago!]

But I have one scene in my head and that's when the Pegasus shows up at a time where the Galactica's squad of Vipers are in battle with the Cylons and then launches it's vipers, and Athena [who I named Skylar in my head, since she needs a real name like Lee and Kara, etc.] is in one of the vipers.

There's more to that but, again, time crunch [dinner time!].

Oh, and before I forget....I'm not just a slasher but also a femslasher and I was going to make it Starbuck/Athena [Kara/Skylar].

I may or may not actually decide to write this at a later time as an AU, it really depends on what happens in this episode and if anyone is interested. +shrugs+ Although if I do, Admiral Cain is so going to be a woman, because that kicks ass.

Heh. I just realized I really need a BSG icon or two.
